Quick & Easy: Make Delicious Affogato At Home

In the spirit of making fun coffee drinks at home, we made this quick step-by-step tutorial on how to make a tasty affogato drink using a moka pot!

Your favoriteOakland Coffee roast

Ice Cream of your choice (we use vanilla)

Whipped cream (if you like 😊)

STEPS

1. Unscrew the base of your Moka Pot

2. Fill the water catcher with filtered water until right underneath the valve

3. Insert the grounds catcher into the water catcher

4. Grind your beans very finely (you want an espresso grind)

5. Put your ground coffee into the grounds catcher (1 tbsp to every 3 parts of water)

6. Screw on the top portion of the Moka Pot and place it on your stovetop

7. Let simmer until your coffee stops percolating out of the top spout

8. Portion out the amount of coffee you’d like to use

9. Scoop your ice cream into a bowl/cup

10. Pour your coffee over your ice cream

11. Top it off with whipped cream (if you like!)

12. Enjoy!
